Toc H Brisbane Branch: A Year of Service, Partnership and Community in 2026. As Toc H Brisbane Branch continues to build on the momentum of our centenary celebrations, 2026 promises to be a vibrant and purposeful year, centred on service, strengthened partnerships, and meaningful community engagement.

Our calendar reflects not only the traditions we proudly uphold, but also new initiatives that bring fresh energy and opportunity to serve.

April – 11th April, Easter Fun Day & Coungeau House Working Bee

Brisbane Branch will partner with Scenic Rim Regional Cadets to host an Easter Fun Day at Coungeau House for families supported by Brainchild, a childhood brain cancer organisation providing vital support to families navigating this devastating illness.

The day will feature engaging activities for children and families, offering a moment of joy, connection and respite. Following the event, Toc H members and cadets will remain onsite for a working bee, continuing our commitment to stewardship of Coungeau House.

August – 98th Annual EKKA Outing – 16th August

Our flagship event, the 98th Annual EKKA Outing, will take place on 16 August. Coordinated by Brisbane Branch on behalf of Toc H Queensland, this much loved tradition continues to provide a memorable day at the Ekka for hundreds of guests.

With planning already underway, we are excited to deliver what promises to be our biggest and best outing yet, made possible through the generosity of our sponsors, ride owners, partners, supporters and volunteers.

October – A Month of Halloween Festivities

October will see a strong focus on community engagement and fundraising:

• 17 October – Halloween at Coungeau House. Brisbane Branch is planning an inaugural haunted house fundraiser, bringing spooky fun and community spirit to Coungeau House. This exciting new event will combine creativity, fundraising and engagement in a unique way.
• 24 October – Scenic Rim Regional Cadets Halloween Event. Our longstanding partnership with Scenic Rim Regional Cadets continues as we once again support their annual Halloween event.

November – Cadets Camp & Christmas Celebrations

November highlights our deep appreciation for the cadets who support Toc H throughout the year:

• 22–23 November – Cadets Camp at Bribie. The second annual Cadets Camp at Coungeau House will provide an opportunity to thank cadets for their service, strengthen relationships, and foster leadership and camaraderie.
• Late November (TBC) – Children’s Christmas Party. Plans are underway to relaunch the Toc H Brisbane Branch Children’s Christmas Party, with a refreshed and engaging format. Further details will be shared once confirmed.

December – Reflection, Celebration and Gratitude

• 12 December – World Chain of Light. Brisbane Branch warmly invites all members of Toc H Queensland to join us for our World Chain of Light ceremony, followed by dinner at Club Yeronga. This special occasion offers a moment to reflect on our shared values of Friendship, Service, Fair-mindedness and To Witness Humbly.
• 14 December – Cadets March Out Parade. We will conclude the year by supporting the Scenic Rim Regional Cadets March Out Parade, where Brisbane Branch will host a BBQ and present certificates of appreciation to recognise the cadets’ dedication and contribution throughout the year.

2026 represents a year of both continuity and growth for Toc H Brisbane Branch. Through established traditions like the EKKA Outing and World Chain of Light, alongside new initiatives we remain committed to living out Toc H’s ethos and values in action: serving others, building community, and fostering meaningful connections.
