Brisbane Branch News
Coungeau House was a hive of activity during a working bee on the weekend of 10–12 April, with members, cadets, families and volunteers coming together to generously contribute their time and energy to caring for this important Toc H Queensland property.
Members of the Toc H Brisbane Branch, Toc H Bribie Branch and Toc H General Members Branch worked alongside the cadets, instructors and parents of Scenic Rim Regional Cadets Inc., as well as other valued volunteers.
It was a significant weekend of hard work, made possible by the generosity and community spirit of everyone involved. The willingness of so many people to lend a hand demonstrated the Toc H values of friendship, service and fellowship in action.
While the weekend involved a mammoth collective effort, it was important to ensure there was also time for fun and connection. Movie nights were held on both evenings, with downtime provided for the cadets to relax, enjoy themselves and spend time together as a small way of thanking them for their outstanding contribution.
Working bees such as this do more than help care for Coungeau House. They bring people of different ages, branches and community groups together, strengthen relationships and provide an opportunity to work towards a shared purpose.
Toc H Queensland extends its sincere appreciation to every member, cadet, instructor, parent and volunteer who participated. Your generosity, enthusiasm and hard work were deeply valued and helped make the weekend a tremendous success.
Thank you for continuing to support Coungeau House and the work of Toc H Queensland.
